Just one small problem The app is great about letting you know your train time and track number. However, if the train is delayed the app is really bad about letting you know how late the train will be. Sometimes the app will provide you with the delayed time (8 minutes for example). But if you check the app 3 minutes later, it will tell you your train is on time. This can get very annoying. I live very close to the train station, so those few minutes make all the difference and can cause me to miss my train.
Sluggish but indispensable Provides track number ahead of time.
Good start Solid app, slightly quicker than going to the website and nice to see correct track assignments. Would be nice to change the color of the saved favorite routes and be able to add a title for quicker use, such as (mom's inbound, etc) would also be nice to add columns, such as bicycle trains.
Slow and buggy This web view app is slow and buggy. When the phone loses network connection it will hide results even when you just loaded them. Annoying splash screen. Handles rotation terribly. Very poor showing by the mta. Edit: Internet access is not required to continue viewing results you just loaded! You should never take content away from the user right after they load it. Being "up to date" is a poor excuse for lazy programming. I'm disappointed by the reply.
Enhancements are great. Suggestions - 1) Give the train number like the paper schedule, 2) If the connection is lost, do NOT wipe the last screen. Put a small indicator of the issue, 3) Allow scroll backwards for departed trains.
Favorites no longer save With the latest update, my favorites got erased and they no longer save after I close and reopen the application. I uninstall and reinstalled the app, but I keep losing my favorites. Please fix this soon. Otherwise, great app. EDIT: I'm running Android 5.1 on a Nexus 5. Please let me know if you need any more information.
