Baato is a refreshing, Nepali-made alternative to Google Maps. I love its landmark-based directions and offline mode—it really suits travel in Nepal. The public transport feature in Kathmandu is promising too. However, routing can be off at times, there’s no satellite view, and rural coverage is still limited. Still, for local navigation, it’s a solid choice with lots of potential.

It's a really great app. I came here after Shark Tank and Congratulations for the deal. This app considers every single chowks and gully, which is easy for the people who are new to the location. What I suggest is: 1) Consider adding "Contour Lines" in the map, 2) Changing the base layer of the map by keeping the original content, 3) Customizable features for N, Arrow and others, 4) Add "Scale" as well, and 5) Add Maps of other smaller countries like Nepal, specially for Ride Sharing.
