This application calculates noise abatement offered a hearing protector with a medium to high accuracy from the values H, M, L which usually appear in the brochure of the manufacturer and global levels and C-weighted sound obtained from measuring the ambient noise. The application also allows calculating the effective attenuation of the hearing protector considering its time of use, because if the PPE is not used for the total exposure time which theoretically provides attenuation (manufacturer information, obtained in laboratory tests) can be reduced drastically.
