Please note this app is GOOD ONLY UNTIL DECEMBER 30TH, YEAR 2019, as it is based upon Google Fusion Tables and Google has said they will discontinue that service. The developed for this app will look to port the service to a different map server before the end of year 2019, but cannot guarantee that the app will continue to work after year 2019.
This application displays known mineral locations in most parts of the world, including gold, silver, iron, copper, zinc, gems, and other minerals. Users may select which mineral(s) to display on the map. An option is also included for rock ages if desired.
The application also allows people to zoom in one their location, if their device allows this, and will show minerals near-by. Users may also "zoom" to a particular location by the location name, such as a town, city, or street address.
Mineral record data may be copied to your device's clip board if your device supports clipboard services.
