Ratings and reviews

The Android app is very difficult to use. Tapping to enter information often doesn't work. The app doesn't remember my wifi. And there's no way to differentiate the 8 devices I have. I think there's potential with these devices, but right now the usability of the app is very poor. UPDATE: EarthOne made significant improvements to the app, and I'm now able to use it on my Android phone. I'm upping the rating accordingly.

I love the idea of this and love how it can tell me the light and when my plant needs water. But the app can be a little buggy. Sometimes it's hard to click things or type things. My biggest complaint though is that it doesn't alert me when the batteries are low. So I'll go to check my plants and wonder why I haven't gotten alert and realized that the battery was dead. I would love an automation that can alert me when the battery is below maybe 20%. I'd also love to connect to Google assistant.

App shows a bunch of promise. looking forward to testing it more. Update: I've been using the app and monitors for around 8 months now. Very handy for keeping up with my plants. I've recently had some bugs when adding a new monitor and have to clear the cache and relaunch a few times before finally getting a new monitor added. I wish we could add new plants.
