About this app

Canta allows you to uninstall any(*) app
from your device, even if you don't have root access.

You'll need to install Shizuku (https://shizuku.rikka.app/download/)
and activate it (https://shizuku.rikka.app/guide/setup/) before using Canta.
For Android 16+, you can use https://github.com/thedjchi/Shizuku/releases/latest

I used this app with Shizuku when I noticed my phone had installed that "app drawer" full of ads. It was a bit weird to connect it but once I did, I got rid of over 80 unnecessary services on my phone... that is such a big relief. I'm a minimalist and I don't need YouTube, Facebook or trackers... Brace the developer who put these notes and explains if it is safe to remove the services!

A lifesaver for phones in the Xiaomi series... The amount of bloatware and things I'll never use on those phones always bothered me, I don't want them in my app drawer!! Well, safe to say that this app worked perfectly, my Redmi Note 13 and Redmi 9 look way less cluttered now... Beware of uninstalling them in big batches though, just a recommendation, because then it bugs out (even if the apps are marked as recommended).

Incredibly useful, with helpful (and entertaining!) descriptions of each app, like what it does, what it might break to remove, etc. If things don't work out, it's easy to undo what you removed. I got rid of 116 apps, and my awful moto g play can actually sort of run now! (couldn't type before!) I've also never seen so much DESERVED sass from an app before... and I agree! It really baffles the mind how much useless garbage gets loaded on just to balloon usage metrics!
