Enhance your cycling experience with the Hammerhead Companion App! Access your Android phone’s calls, texts, and notifications on your Karoo, as well as upload rides, sync routes, and much more, all without the need for Wi-Fi.

I gave the Karoo2 a try, but now I'm turning it into a paper weight. Back to Garmin I go. This app works when it feels like working. Some days it sends notifications to the head unit and others days it doesn't. I've gotten in the habit of restarting my phone, clearing the cache and turning off all other Bluetooth connections while this app is running. It still doesn't work.

Doesn't actually work. Such a poor app for such a great piece of kit! And yes, before you say you need to keep it running to recieve notifications, I have. I've carried out all the steps you've suggested and it still doesn't work. Why don't you have a go at building a new app? This one clearly doesn't work, just read the other reviews and ratings! I've tried Bluetooth connection and it still doesn't work.

So the application is still a bit raw, however you are on a right track to become the best among cycle planning apps. Keep on testing it well, you will get there.
