X Icon Changer is a totally free and useful app which can help you change & customize icons and names for any apps. The new icons can be chosen from gallery, other app icons and lots of personalized icon packs. Our app will create a shortcut to the new icon on your home screen. ☆ HOW TO USE ☆

1. Enter X Icon Changer.

2. Choose an app.

3. Select a new icon from the built-in icon packs, your gallery, other app icons or personalized third-party icon packs.

4. Edit a new name (can be null) for the app.

5. Go to the home screen / desktop to see the new shortcut icon.

6. Add a GIF to play an interesting GIF animation when the new app icon launches.

☆ ABOUT THE WATERMARK ☆

On Android 8.0 and above, the system will automatically add a watermark to the shortcut icon. We provide a way for you to perfectly change app icons without any watermarks using widget technology:

1. Go to the home screen / desktop, long press a blank space and then click “Widgets” in the pop-up menu.

2. Find “X Icon Changer” on the widget page, long press it and drag it to your desktop.

Ratings and reviews

It does what it says and the new icon opens the app immediately. The ads are annoying. But the price to remove them is reasonable. Down to 1 star because unusable as the afs popping up interrupt what you're doing. Close out the app and open it and you get an immediate ad that goes on forever. if you get post it another one pops up before you are done creating you icon and it's just a vicious cycle of frustration. Hope the .0001 earn is worth having you app deleted.

Easy to navigate, functions exactly as it claims. Ads aren't insufferable. You can upload any image, and it uses it to create a shortcut on the homescreen (it does not change the way the actual app looks). Clean and beautiful designs to choose from, too, if you don't want to upload an image. All around incredible app. Never had any issues whatsoever.

Ads make the service unusable- literally. I don't know if this is a glitch I encountered or what but everytime I attempted to finalize an icon change and ad would run which reset the finalization process. I would try again but the same thing would happen. It would get to about 30% done and then an ad would run and nothing changes. Even without the ads, the service is awful. When I tried to upload a widget or gif it always ends up on a white background, watermark, and is very unappealing.
