Ultrasonography Applied to Dermatology and Cosmiatry - A Clinical and Ultrasound Approach.

Dermatological Ultrasonography is part of the recent history of world Medicine and, even more, of the
Brazilian.
Created by a group of Ultrasonographers, Radiologists and Dermatologists, in October 2020,
the Brazilian Society of Dermatological Ultrasonography (SBUD) acts as a Commission in the Brazilian Society
of Ultrasonography (SBUS) and Subcommittee at the Brazilian College of Radiology (CBR), with representatives in
several states in the national territory. Standardize the performance of these exams as a Medical Act, promote the
scientific technical improvement, establishing and providing the bases of Dermatological Ultrasound, defending
continuing medical education, with a focus on scientific production and the exchange of knowledge between
medical professionals working in the area are the main missions of SBUD.
From the beginning, SBUS showed itself as a great partner of SBUD, receiving our Commission, to which
designated as his 9th. Scientific Department, opening space in webinars and at the 25th. Brazilian Congress of
SBUS Ultrasound for Dermatological Ultrasound Module and this book substantiates it all.
In a work with renowned collaborators in the area, we seek to show a clinical and ultrasound vision,
ratifying the importance of the multidisciplinary approach, thus presenting a comprehensive and easily accessible work.
