One press to scan your entire screen and analyze any Japanese text. One button to add any kanji or vocabulary to your MaruMori SRS queue.
The process:
1. Tap the floating button
MaruDex analyzes whatever is currently showing on your screen, across any app, including fullscreen games, ereader apps, manga apps and so on!
2. Tap & See Definitions
Tap on a text region, and MaruDex parses it one word at a time, showing kanji, vocabulary, conjugation details and sentence structure.
3. Tap + to mine
One tap sends a word or kanji straight to your custom MaruMori study lists for SRS-based study.

What’s new
- Tapping on a word in a red box will now open the lookup window with that particular word selected.
- Added three size options for the lookup window in Advanced Settings
- Better OCR results for high resolution devices where text overlaps multiple "tiles".
- Lookup History - You can now retry/refresh data for items you previously looked up (e.g. while offline).
- Fixed an issue with certain kanji not showing up as results.
- Fixed an issue where the floating bubble size setting wouldn't work
