Hide The Notch

About this app

Your wallpaper is the picture you look at most often in your life. Fifty times a day, a hundred. Someone, a place, a light, a three second memory before you answer a message.

And there is a notch in it.

This app adjusts your wallpaper to hide it. The top of the screen turns black, the same night as the one already around the camera, the kind only OLED screens can make, and your picture carries on underneath as if nothing had happened.

Notch, punch hole, Dynamic Island: whatever your phone calls it, it disappears.

You choose your photo, the one that matters, and frame it the way you want. Or you start from a gradient and push it around with your finger until you land on the right colour, the one you would not have found anywhere else.

There are several ways to make the notch disappear, and a single setting for each. You try, you see straight away, you keep the one you like.

Then the picture is yours. It lands in your photos, at the exact size of your screen. You keep it, you send it to someone, you make another one tomorrow because the light has changed.

Free. No ads, no account, no tracking, no subscription. Your photos never leave your phone.
