Plag is an essentially different way to spread information.
The idea for Plag is to create a perfect medium for spreading information as wide as it deserves to be spread, without any boundaries.
Plag works like a virus. When you spread information, it goes to the users who are closest to you physically. The infected users can spread information exponentially further or they can resist the epidemic by keeping the information to themselves.
Everyone has a fair and equal chance to be heard by the whole network right from the start - there is no friending or following on Plag. If your information is interesting to people, it can eventually spread to the entire world.

Very cool concept. Fun time killer, and nice way to get some thoughts off your mind and memes off of your sim card. A way to just "witness" a person you bookmarks previous posts would be nice. To keep on line with the mission however, in that witness mode no comments or shares should be available. Otherwise it gives some people an unfair advantage. Keep up the development on this.

Great app, needs improvement I love the concept and execution, but it needs some tweaks. A huge pro of other social medias is that I can filter out what I see on my timeline. I like that I can put stuff on my timeline, but it would be nice to be able to take stuff off my timeline. Also, it would be nice to have a mute/hide from feed button to not see repetitive posts from the same user. I did not want to resort to a harsh Report, but was forced to. I love the concept however, and would love to be able to see my Up Swipes
A very interesting and noble idea In a world where media is controlled by corporations, it's difficult to find real news and content. This platform has the opportunity to do some real good in the world, it just need more people. Biggest problem is the ability to only share photos and polls, no ability to post links and other content it would seem. The majority of content is memes you would see on Twitter or Facebook.

Very intuitive! My only gripe is that everyone wants to share artsy things instead of real nonbias news or stories. But it is well built and easy to use. You can see where in the world the info has spread and how many people it has 'infected'. A marvelous app with a need for a larger audience.

Lost 2 stars for Facebook moderators If they aren't from Facebook, they sure learned a lot from them. Trolls and bigots receive no disciplinary action, victims do. Moderators will straight up lie to users in support interactions, and fight tooth and nail to make you believe they did something they VERY clearly didn't take care of. They're also incredibly slow to take action, if they ever take action. Lost another star because I still can't post

Very very very cool! Very cool app! It's a lot of fun to use! The only minor thing is that you can't vieuw your own option list/ poll thing.. like you just can't see how many votes it got. If that's fixed this is a really really good app!

Bias network they choose what you share If they don't like what you share they just delete it. So if you like censorship download it. Plag has changed from a year ago. Duck plag. They dont even take time to update the pics on google play.
Getting Better and Better Plag has been through a series of exciting changes since its release. While making these changes and keeping in mind the basic idea, my experience in Information Sharing and using this app has been great. One awesome thing is the involvement of the users and the development team in building this platform.
Wonderful, Amazing and Beautiful It's sublime, I'm using it for a couple of days now and it has been a wonderful journey since back then. But I have a suggestion to make :when I press return button sometimes, in some sub categories of the app it just quits the app. If you can make that aspect better in the next update it'd be great. ^^
Boooooooring. No other way to describe it except that it's a total gimmick. Submissions are still moderated by people whom obviously have agendas. There is no 'news' to share. There are no 'stories'. It's all just memes and garbage pictures ripped off the internet. Read the comments and don't waste your time.
I've been waiting for this! I've been sick of Facebook for almost two years... but ...because of my activism completely inable to let it go.. Now im thinking that I just might have found a new home! Still learning .. But so far I love it! Great job!
Innovative This app has, dare I say, rejuvenated the idea of social media. Only...this time they left out the social. There is nothing holding you back from sharing your ideas and thoughts from the public. Your voice can be heard by anyone else in the world and you can hear theirs.
Honestly, Its awesome I couldn't think of a better way to spread news and information. Let's say there's a terriost attack in Europe or America and someone there shares it to Plag. You get info right from the attack in 1-2 minutes where the news may not cover it for hours. Also let's say something happens in the middle east news stations may never cover it because there to busy making fun of Donald Trump for eating KFC differently. Plag is beautiful the more people the more powerful and the faster the information is speard.
Love this app. I am not going to lie, this was a great app. The community is great as well as most of the cards. But there is a problem, the devs have left us so we won't be getting any updates. Plag is currently a "frozen" project. It still functions the same and they are keeping the servers up and running, but the few bugs won't be fixed. But don't worry! The community is trying to fix this and I have faith in them. Overall it's a great app.
Usually I find it difficult to make friends on social media, cause the feeds they subscribe to seem private. Here it's a truly public forum, with a wonderful, diverse community. Despite lacking the traditional interface of feeds and followers, there's a greater sense of connection to its international community.
You keep allowing trolls to report our accounts as spam and suspending our accounts without review and telling us why is unprofessional and cowardly. You can kiss the popularity of this app goodbye if you don't fix that. Deactivating. I still have Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, tumblr, pinterest....
Great Concept! Although it is "plagued" (get it?) by people who don't really understand the concept, it is great! It has a very usable UI, and a lot of great users. There's only one problem: I'm running out of storage for all of the things I keep saving!
I fell in love with the idea, the moment I first read it! Totally awesome! :) But there's just one catch- being new, the app is quite slow and uploading images may get glitchy...
Really smart I like the concept alot. But tell me how many times would something need to be skipped in order for it not to show is it based on how many users have seen it against how many of them skipped ir or what
Don't bother downloading it's an abandoned app. The devs abandoned this app. Also it's full of baby's if yoy post something that dose not line up with their own view,you get banned
Two for the idea This app is an example of how to turn a perfect idea into a trash. Looked around like 10 mins and it was full of memes and so called funny videos/images. Also there are people who try to use it like chat site. Where is the information?
Self defeating in its ideals, terms of service are so subjective that acceptable information is completely under the jurisdiction of what are otherwise very childish moderators who enjoy their power a little too much. All in all is not really a place for the promotion of information and ideas, but is simply another facebook or twitter pretending it is something more innovative.
Constantly crashes Great idea, but it crashes constantly and usually within five minutes of use. It even crashes after I've rebooted my phone (Galaxy S4). Don't bother installing, as there are several thousand better ways to share information.
It's OK, not great. Is fun for a while, the community of people can be fun and frustrating. The best part of the app is getting to know people from all over the world. It's certainly more social than serious. Every update seems to make it worse.
I love the app idea as it is new. I would recommend finding a way to implement more serious topics such as news and so maybe by including a category list before posting. Rated it 5 to support spreading it
Awesome Concept Excellent execution of a simple solution to the biggest problem in information. If this stays true to it's self I don't think I'll ever need another social network. 5/5 easy.
Declined into trashy gifs I was expecting to see world-changing ideas and instead got gifs of dogs trick or treating. I wish there was better category sorting so I can see more of the world-changing ideas and less of the memes.
Eh... Idea is cool. I was hoping for in depth articles. But this is just pictures. They talk about how superior this is to social media but it's no different. 90% of what's shared to the world is cat pictures. Maybe this world doesn't deserve open source media..
Incredible(but one bug) This app is so awesome I don't even know how to describe it being able to share a little bit about me and about the world around me with the push of a button and being able to see you a little bit of others and being able to see who is looking at it I just can't begin to describe it please spread the word about this app good job Developers. Great app but.... I loved the app the idea is great there's only a small flaw when you post a poll it won't allow me to see what people have been choosing from my phone i have to get online through my computer for it to work if they could please fix that this app would definitely be 5 stars
Love the idea of this App. But one thing that bothered me is why does this app needs access to my phone contacts, my ip address, contacts, google drive, photos and also manipulate my phone and homescreen? I thought this app was about freedom and power to the people. Liberating social media of restriction? Kind of betrayal from the developers!
I really love the app. The most important thing is the community, it has great potential and very awesome people. I also like the concept of the app. Also it's the first app in which the admins are really putting effort into listening to people's individual problems and trying to solve them. Recommended for everyone who has more thoughts than Instagram can handle!
I like the idea and love what you guys are doing but I'm dissatisfied with the app. It won't let me post anything - says "Screen overlay detected." I turned off "draw over other apps" for all installed apps but there are few system apps which won't let me turn it off. I'm using Motorola Moto G4 - Android Marshmallow 6.0.1
Apparently, the devs have abandoned the community we built. I was told the servers are going down, and a mass exodus of the community went to other apps. It was unfortunate. Great app, great community, great network, all for naught. Fun while it lasted, I guess.
It was okay while it lasted I moved to Gab because this app was not what it advertised but I met a few people who Im now friends with on here. Its the community that makes this app bearable but almost all of it is gone. Get Gab for a better experience
Small Issue I was reading through the desc of this app, and was like "wow this is amazing!" then i read the "Tell me what Plag is about" cards, and i was like "WOW THIS IS AMAZING"... of course though, the small issue. I see posts of random nonsense like photos dragged from "social media" sites and slapped onto your platform--which destroys your entire ideal. Suggestion, enlist moderators to keep "spam" off of your site that ruins your ideals. I for one, would be a proud moderator to uphold the integrity that is plag.
Very Good It's a social network and I'm using it, says a lot. I don't use Facebook or anything else. The concept of freely sharing ideas others can share or pass on is a really awesome idea. It helps that your standing or who you are in the world makes no difference. Share and be shared by those who really agree. My cup of joe. Give it a try!
This is one of the best apps I've ever used One of the best apps ever to get a place in my phone. Amazing concept! This app is gonna stay in my phone for a really long time. Good job guys. And amazing introduction!
Detained within area every post goes to 4 posters "in the area" for permission to leave the area. Sucky. Probably the worst internet idea ever. What gets swiped up and sent out? Countless nothing posts to cater to the SFW crowd. I looked up the touchy subject of SEX and it's complete sunday school. Never broach the topic, the policy here. Loser app.
It's OK, kind of enjoyable but needs some changes. The up and down nature of the swipe needs a learning curve; switch to something more intuitive. There's no Full Screen for content, whenever I click on a picture that I want to see in its entirety there a comment section or a top bar in the way; make it touch sensitive like Facebook's comment section.
