Patched. PROS: Great security tool for those vulnerable. CONS: Rekey is not declaring su privileges which is very unprofessional for a root app. I use CayanogenMod 10.1 now so I have no need for this app but it was great on my stock HTC One ROM (Sense 5) And to those who claim they are still vulnerable are morons. Blue box says they do not verify the rekey patch. I am a developer and have tried using the exploit to no use when rekey is working.
Likely a scam The "fix" also gets removed if you uninstall app. I fixed the master key issue with app of same name by Tungstwenty. Even after uninstalling Xposed Framework & MasterKey, Bluebox & SRT apps say I am protected. All other apps including widgets working fine!
Five stars for security. I give it five stars for the patch it does, but my phone has issues when it reboots. Widgets won't load until I uninstall this app. Once they all load I can re-install it, and all is good again until I have to reboot. Running a Moto Defy with Android 2.2.1
Good (or not?) After update, it is still the same: it looks as if it patches the phone, but Bluebox and Appscanner say it's still vulnerable. Not sure at ALL.
No good Has damaged my note now can't flash any cm/aokp/pa roms tried Oden and end up with a rom that wake locks
Causes hang upon any new installation Whenever I install a new app (even from Play store) the phone freezes and it needs a forced reboot.
Device always needs to be restarted after updating ReKey!
1.0.6: Fixed a issue of the patch for bug #9695860, this is now fully patched!
Fixed show of warning message for some devices.
Fixed display issue for small screens.
The bootloop problem should be solved now.
Verify whether root(superuser or su)access is properly installed and working.
