About this app

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
“A long-overdue, borderline genius product that puts much-needed control back into the hands of homeowners.” - Wired Magazine

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
“The smart panel is to electrical panels as smartphones are to cell phones” - EnergySage review

Now anyone can preview the SPAN experience - no panel or login required! Download the app and tap on the “Simulated SPAN Home”.

SPAN reinvented the hundred year old electric panel to enable connected, resilient, all-electric homes. It replaces your existing electric panel and gives you control of every circuit in your home right from your phone.

SPAN’s onboard intelligence uses your energy data to give you interesting, actionable and previously unknown insight into your home. When paired with solar panels and a battery, SPAN gives you the best protection against power outages. And just like our electric cars, SPAN gets better over time with over-the-air software updates.

And now, your SPAN Home can include Drive, SPAN's new universal EV charger that gives you fast and dynamic charging without a service upgrade.

A good beginner's attempt. The Span smart panel itself lacks a browser interface; the phone app does not use space efficiently. If you have more than a few circuits you won't be able to see much usage at once. No custom devices. Edit erases existing entry. The individual circuits are all two lines, even if most fit on one line. A browser interface is an absolute necessity, a big oversight. App is slow to load. Also missing, tell app when device is on/off, and app to record difference.
