Biblio gives you the best reading experience in the world! You can effortlessly search, read, and listen to tens of thousands of books in the catalogue. Biblio also provides you with book suggestions. Customise your reading experience by choosing your settings. With Biblio you can explore the wonderful world of books!

In Biblio you can read and listen to e- and audiobooks from your local library, and it's easy to get started, all you need is to have your library card ready!

Everyone can find something to read. Biblio offers books for all ages, children and adults, and in all genres. The most popular books from recent years are mixed with classics and the latest releases. Non-fiction books take their place alongside fiction, crime and poetry.

Are you already using Biblio? You are in for a treat as Biblio is now released in a new upgraded version. In this version, you will find many new features. It also means that you need to create a new user. We describe below how you can do this. A Tip! If you are already reading a book, finish reading it in the red Biblio app, it will not be moved to the upgraded version.


Your reading preference is unique and personal. You can therefore adjust settings in the app according to your wishes and needs.

This is a list some of our favourites:
- Search and explore the catalogue with search tool and categories
- Reading lists where you can save the books you would like to read in the future. The books you have read are also saved in a list.
- Your library provides reading tips conveniently in your app.
- Did you like the book you just read? Share it with your friends.
- Create a reading challenge! Collect all your reading in Biblio, follow your reading journey, and measure how much you read. You can also register the time when reading a paper book.
- Have you already started reading a book and want to continue on another device, such as your phone, tablet or the web? No problem, we synchronise where you last left off.


Read and enjoy your ebook in our state-of-the-art ebook reader:
- Customise the text in the book with your preferences and needs. Choose the font, background colour, line spacing or size of the text - the app has several features to choose from, so that everyone, even those with reading challenges, can fully enjoy the book.
- Set bookmarks, make notes and highlights.
- Download to read your digital book offline.
- Text-to-speech function that can read from one word to a full page.
- The search function allows you to search both in the ebook and in your notes.


Enjoy the audio book with settings of your own choice:

- Set and adjust the speed at which you wish the audiobook to be read.
- Cast the audio to your nearest speaker, whether you are on the beach, in the car, or at home.
- Scroll or go back with the 15 sec button. You can navigate easily in the player.
- Chose the speed and the sound level you want your book to be read at
- Set the sleep timer and the player will stop automatically
- Download to listen to your audiobook offline. Or stream it to save space on your unit.

Ratings and reviews

The app is good, but to constantly get the "Pause during call" alert every time, pressing OK, and yet get the same info next time is quite the annoyance. Haven't found a way to "don't show next time"

Not much of an improvement over the previous Biblio app. Related books aren't shown in the same language, making it useless. It's nice that you have all those subgenres but why not let us pick them in the initial search? Takes me ages to find a new interesting book. For English books, don't expect anything major. Mostly no-names and books copyright has run out of. When searching, the counter is broken. (Search with no results shows "27 results" when pressing filter. App not fully translated.

The player for audio books keeps breaking. The page turning in the ereader is finicky, and doesn't seem to support page turning with the volume button, which most other apps do. Downloading books for offline use doesn't work, since exiting the app removes the download (guessing that's a bug?). There's no pure black mode in the ereader, which results in eye strain (for me) and higher battery usage for people with amoled screens. At least borrowing books is easy, but the experience is horrid.
