About this app

Rakning C-19 is the official digital contact tracing app for Iceland.
By using Rakning C-19 we can all help preventing the spread of COVID-19 . The app uses COVID-19 Exposure Notification system developed by Apple and Google.

Once you have downloaded and started using Rakning C-19, your phone will start share and receive random Bluetooth IDs with other phones with the app. The app will send you notification if you have been in close contact with another app user that has been diagnosed with COVID-19. Then you can follow instructions in the app on what you should do.
No one can see your identity nor your location. You can’t see the identity of those you may have been in close contact with.
If you share that you have been diagnosed with COVID-19, other app users cannot see your identity.

The app does not use or register any location data.

Ratings and reviews

App crashes (white screen) instead of showing test results. Restarting phone, clearing catche or reinstalling the app does not fix the issue. My travel companion has the same problem on different android phone. That's very bad given how important it is.

White screen instead of results same as the other review below. Worked till yesterday but now when you need it most, it doesn't. 12-07 Update: I wrote an email to the address on the leaflet we got upon arrival at the airport and got a reply with the (negative) test results back within 30 minutes. 14-07 Update: Still got the white screen after update. 24-07 Update: I can finally see the results! Thanks for fixing!

I hope it works. I only got a notification that my test results were negative in the app, but those results cannot be found anymore. People keep aski g for your test result, but they are not to be found in the app anymore..Did not receive sms.
