About this app

LESA is a reading app that helps young school-age children develop their reading skills in a fun and engaging way. Designed for kids in grades 1-4, LESA supports the reading and preservation of the Icelandic language.

LESA uses gamification to spark children's interest and create a positive connection with reading. Kids can climb levels, choose their favorite character, and earn rewards by unlocking the playground after reading.

Parents and teachers get detailed statistics on reading progress, including natural reading speed, reading comprehension, enjoyment of reading, and continuity. Clear and simple presentation helps parents stay in the loop on their child's reading journey.

The goal of LESA is to boost the joy of reading and enhance reading skills for children, while also gaining an overview of reading across the nation. Let's make reading a fun adventure!

A playful reading adventure for kids in grades 1-4. Make reading fun!
