Canary is home security made simple. The Canary app works with our security devices to connect your home to your phone, allowing you to view and protect those that matter most.

Monitor your home: Watch live or recorded HD videos day or night. Access Canary’s timeline for a living history of your home. Save and bookmark your favorite clips.

Intelligent notifications: When Canary identifies something out of the ordinary, you’ll get a notification with recorded HD video of the event, as well as the option to watch live.

Automatic arming: Canary changes modes when you come and go. No complicated keypads or codes to remember.

When all members are away Canary monitors for activity and sends notifications

When a member is home Canary is customizable. You can set notification and privacy preferences.

Schedule Canary to monitor for activity while you sleep.

- Privacy
Camera and microphone are completely off.


Emergency Options: Respond to incidents directly from the Canary app. Trigger the 90 decibel siren, or be connected directly to your home’s local emergency responders.

No longer a recommendation. The wide camera lens, various other features, and subscription free options made for a great security option. I know what the changes include and don't include but now that the new business model is to eliminate previous subscription-free options these products are no longer worth it. I'm swapping my two canary cameras for a better option. The company's response doesn't appear to actually understand the frustration.

I paid for a camera that was advertised as and gave me the ability to see recorded videos on my timeline but now I hear that is no longer an option and I have to pay extra for that. Thats really messed up and looks like false advertising to me because its worthless without that capability. Its like I buy a car and then they say, ooops you only get 3 tires. Considering what my options are because this is not acceptable.

Bait and Switch! 👎 Currently not what was marketed. This was purchased because it was subscription free with video clips and no two way audio (which is great because I don't want to give you, or others, the freedom to listen in on my home). Now, no free clips, they added two way audio, and the delay in movement notifications has grown over the years. All this leads me to finding another product. And to think...I used to recommend Canary😔
