Talking Chestnuts

Thanks to TreeTalker® technology, trees talk to us!
With the "Talking Chestnuts" application, the chestnut trees of the Didactic Castagneto di Granaglione (Bologna, Italy) communicate, with simple graphs and tables, their state of health and the amount of carbon they absorb every day. You will also find a map that locates individual trees, in case you want to visit them in person.
Start the app, choose your favourite chestnut from the 48 of the project: you will see that it carries the name of a famous scientist. In the tab of each tree, you will be able to see his photo, a brief description of the scientist whose name it bears, the type of pruning it underwent when he was recovered, and its daily data.
With your family and class, you can use this information for interesting studies and analyses!
The chestnut grove is owned by the Carisbo Foundation and entrusted to the Italian National Academy of Agriculture for technical-scientific coordination.
