allertaLOM is Regione Lombardia's official app, designed to deliver Civil Protection alerts issued by the Regional Functional Centre (CFMR). It provides early warning of natural events that may cause damage to the territory.
The alerts cover predictable natural hazards (hydrogeological and hydraulic phenomena, thunderstorms, strong winds, snowfalls, avalanches, and forest fires), classified into four color-coded levels (green, yellow, orange, red), according to severity and extent. The alert documents are addressed to local Civil Protection authorities, operators and citizens, providing guidance on the current alert status of the regional territory.
