Pretty good but no GIF playback It's very much like the official Twitter app with a handful of improvements, but one disadvantage. Inline media doesn't autoplay, and GIFs don't even load or play when you click on them; they're static images. That's important enough to me that I can't use this app until it supports it. Everything else is great but no inline playback is a downgrade.
One of the best Android twitter clients in the store. However the app need some improvements. Vine clips are not working and limited tweets in the hashtag. Furthermore, it's great to have a sync feature between various platforms. ---- [UPDATE 4 Feb 2017]: I think its the time from mvilla to read their customer notes and complaints in order to keep the app in the top.
Long time User, Still needs work Although I like this app I would love to be able to set it up so that the theme would turn to dark mode at night time. I also feel the UI could use some refreshing. Its nice but it's starting to feel a bit dated now. Flamingo and Talon I think have surpassed Fenix in the Design Department. The main reason I still use Fenix is mainly because the Images are larger and utilize the full space of my screen.
Best Android Twitter client in November 2016 The only two problems with this app are that the settings are not applied immediately (press Back), and that the return animation is in the wrong direction. Otherwise - perfect, and a more that adequate replacement for Tweetbot (coming from iOS). Totally worth the money. And for people who miss the poll functionality: Twitter Inc don't provide the API for that. Don't blame the client developers.
Missing significant features for a paid app. Twitter polls is a major one. This app also has a tendency not to return to the same point in the timeline I was looking at previously. It's annoying to look at someones profile for a moment and to be all the way at the top of the timeline when you go back. I would also like to see per tweet gesture controls a la tweetbot for iOS but I can understand if that's not happening.
Not worth it Faster and more stable than the first party app by a long shot, but it doesn't support all notifications (why?) and media just disappears sometimes. Just use the mobile site, it's the most functional option and doesn't cost anything.
