Downloaded this after Press for Android was abandoned. Mostly filled the void. Would like a way to more easily save to a Read it Later service. If even possible, it would also be nice to be able to save a password and username to a subscription site that has RSS without having to open the article in a browser. Solid product that I gladly purchased to remove ads, but would like to see more regular updates and improvements.
Loved it at first, but than it just stopped working properly. It's not refreshing (even though it shows that it is). I down want to download everything to my memory limited phone, I just want to see the latest, and I'll read what I find interesting. The only reason I'm keeping it on my phone is to see if new updates fix stuff.
There is no better RSS reader on the market. So good I decided to support it and do not regret it. Clean and modern with all the functionality I need. Would be good to have an update every now and then. Still a few bugs to squash. Like the need to pull to refresh twice before any new data appears
Basic and barely updated I bought this as I wanted a good RSS reader after Press was abandoned and the devs have a good track record with their excellent Twitter app. Sadly the progress has really been lacking and it still misses the most basic of functions. There's not even a, widget. Disappointing and hard to recommend.
The best RSS reader on Android since Press. After switching from an Exynos to a SnapDragon device the performance has much improved now. Only complaint that I have is that the UI for the star/share/previous/next at the bottom of the article page is distracting, either keep it permanently visible, hide it in a menu or keep it pegged to the bottom of the page (preferred solution).
The favs/stars sync doesn't work. It can add a star but if you remove a star from the web it never get cleared on the app. Also sync is a little slower than the official app. But the way it works is far better than the official app.
- When scrolling through a list of articles, it's now possible to quickly mark newer/older entries as read with a long press
- Switched Readability service to https://mercury.postlight.com
- Fixed an issue preventing articles to be correctly displayed for particular subscriptions
