The app is specifically designed to load and operate on devices with an OS of 7.0 or higher. A tablet device with Wi-Fi connectivity locates your approximate position if it is connected to Wi-Fi. A tablet Wi-Fi + 3G model operates similarly to a phone device with GPS.

Ratings and reviews

Generally good app but doesn't have one of the most important features of any chart plotter: there is no MOB button on the main screen. You can only set a marker and then manually select it as your new destination. This is not an acceptable course of action in a real MOB situation. You should only have to press one button and the location gets marked and outomatically is set as your new destination (also display the MOB coordinates in large letters).

Could be better. It is very useful to have electronic charts that are updated regularly. It is also convenient to see community input and marked locations. For quite a while now however, routing has been spotty and the autorouting NEVER works anymore. This was such a useful feature in the past. Please fix it!

To make this app perfect for me, I would like to see a compass enclosing the navigation cursor to be able to know my position relative to the magnetic north without having to look at my compass. Please let me know if this feature is available. Thank you. Update. I was able to include a compass superimposed on the navigation screen, it looks awesome and works great.
