Decent visuals, but not great for actual boating. No easy MOB mark functions, no night mode, no hud displaying useful info or customization. It's basically an ok app for someone taking their dad's litte boat out of the marina, but quickly loses functionality beyond that.
I live in Florida and I go boating on the gulf sometimes and it has saved me from a few sandbars so that was good, now for the bad. The water depth don't change even though the tides do so where you think your ok suddenly your not and it is useless on freshwater lakes or rivers. I am not sure that i will renew the subscription,
I really enjoy my app. My only issue with it is; weather and tides time is shown as Atlantic time but i live in Newfoundland. Can this be changed?
Not happy the yearly subscription is a scam.I updated my maps 3 days ago 190mb your update yesterday 40mb now I check my map another update today 423mb? It not the first time I loaded them on my phone and not my tablet not a difference in the maps but 650mb of downloads not very happy
The app worked for a while, then began to crash upon starting. Reinstalling the app accomplished nothing. The only thing that worked was removing all files associated with Navionics buried in my device's memory... Then reinstalled the app and the app worked again. Navionics was very helpful in sorting this out. Will update if problem re-occurs.
Very impressive. Had trouble once so far getting a GPS signal but that was quickly resolved. Great value. Love the community edits. Update Oct 3 2018 Haven't had any more issues with GPS. Highly recommended.
