The Darsana app is a platform that facilitates the exchange of information between the ophthalmologist and the patient, useful for remote monitoring of eye health.


The Darsana app was designed, conceived and developed with the aim of creating a priority communication channel through which the diagnostic activity carried out by the ophthalmologist for the patient is easier and usable.
In particular, the services made available by the platform allow:
• the patient to upload reports and undergo self-assessment tests of sight, which will be communicated in real time to the ophthalmologist;
• to establish direct contact between the patient and the ophthalmologist, once the diagnosis has been obtained;
• to structure a personalized assistance path, through the setting of appointments and reminders;
• to create a direct communication axis so that the patient can ask questions to the ophthalmologist and the latter respond quickly;
• to facilitate patient management in an intuitive and organized way with immediate access to medical records.
The transmission of data takes place in a secure way, in compliance with the legislation on the protection of privacy.
