About this app

HOTELCUBE Scan is the professional app for quickly and securely scanning
guest ID documents during hotel check-in.

Designed for reception staff and self-service systems,
the app captures data from the Electronic Identity Card (CIE) and
passport in seconds, combining optical recognition (OCR) and
NFC chip reading.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Frame the document
The camera automatically detects the MRZ (Machine Readable Zone) stripe
via real-time OCR. Visual indicators guide the operator
until correct recognition is achieved.

2. Read the NFC chip
Hold your smartphone close to the document: the app reads the NFC chip integrated
in the CIE or passport and extracts the certified data, including the
holder's photo.

3. Send the data
The scanned documents are securely transmitted to the hotel management system,
completing guest registration with a single tap.

SECURITY AND PRIVACY

The data extracted from the documents is treated with the utmost attention
to privacy. Local archiving uses secure and
encrypted storage. Transmission occurs over protected channels to the
authorized management system, identified by a configurable token.
