Audio delay, lots of echo, lots of static. Even when the "echo effect" is turned off, this app has a lot of echo at all except the lowest volume levels. Higher volume levels also produce high frequency static. On Galaxy S3.
good app needs improvement.... it actually works via bluetooth which is awesome yes is very painful to use if you try to adjust the settings I wish this app would have no ads I would not mind paying and furthermore less screeching and irritating echo sound would make this app perfect otherwise Its very easy to use and I am able to hear something at least. it also would be a better app if it had better interface and a recording button with a way to organized recordings would make this app even better, yet I would not mind paying for a an app if it had all these improvements thanks again.
Maybe useful for eavesdropping, not much else. What I had imagined is something that allows you to use your phone as a "personal audio amplifier", the kind of cheap hearing aid with earbuds that you wear on your belt. I thought it might be useful in everyday situations (conversations, etc) for someone I know who has a little trouble hearing. In fact, it's not useful for that at all. There is a neural/auditory phenomenon that causes many/most people to be unable to speak (even when they're reading a script) when they hear their own voice played back to them with a small delay. Those that can, do so with great difficulty and distraction. The time lag this application introduces has exactly this effect, making conversation difficult if not impossible. Some additional quibbles: You can leave the app running in the background, but when you do so it doesn't put itself into the notification screen for easy access. You have to find the app and run it again to shut it off. Also, it would be great if you could choose the devices that are recording and playing back the audio. For example, it would be great to select the mic on a BT earpiece, and play the amplified audio through the ear speaker on the phone or through wired earbuds.
Top class I was surprised at how clear sounds become when using this they really are magnified, need to keep your android tablet still otherwise the tablet moving about will also be picked up.
Works Be patient and keep adjusting controls, you will then hear things that you should not have! lol /BlueTooth.picks up back ground can record.turn on BT and THEN app, usephone mic to eavesdrop!will static if no BT/earplug in phone jack.vol ok TRY IT, I DARE YOU!!
Useless This claims to be an amplifier, but it only increased the output volume marginally and at the expense of some horrendous distortions, cracks & pops, hisses, and reverb that render everything completely unlistenable.
