Good key mapping. Easy to use Tried a few terminal emus and I still think this one just works best when switching from desktop keyboard to phone keyboard. I can run htop and to quit just hold vol-dn + c. If I have to CD into some directory, vol-up + t for Tab. Of I want to run previous commands vol-up + w for up and vol-up + s for down. Also ssh, vim work well in here and can reliably work on remote servers from my phone in case of emergency. Hopefully I'll never have too though.
Good terminal app Works like it's supposed to. Material Design, font style customization, and rich notifications (an "X" on the "Terminal session is running" notification, for instance) would be really nice though, can't wait for you guys to add it! Keep up the good work! P. S. - Some of the other term apps have Linux frotz! You'd get an eternal 5-star rating from me if you added it too!
A wonderful discovery! It's come in handy for running simple commands but where it really shines, at least for me, are the key shortcuts and ability to set commands to execute immediately the terminal is started. I set "su" then "pkill mediaserver" since it quickly frees the mediaserver when trying to catch a moment on photo but camera can't because something else is engaging the server. It's all done so fast since I keep its icon in my notification bar (along a few others).
For update information on screen Update information o screen like pda cs phone etc. And not show reboot option then past following lines-- su echo -n ON > /efs/FactoryApp/factorymode sync reboot
Best Terminal Emulator ever for Android! Having been a Linux user and supporting this developer for a long long time, this app makes it all happen to anyone who wants that same experience as they did when Linux was first introduced. Android IS an OS based on the Linux Kernel and Jack has brought full functionality of it on your Android device. P.S. I suggest root users to install Busybox to get more than what they bargained for. Trust me it's worth it.
Terminal emulator Awesome. What else could I say? Portable linux plus shell scripting. Available packages include ftp and ssh capabilities. Nano is cool for editing code on the fly. Highly recommended. Kudos to development peoples.
