I've used several different plans and apps over the last year. My favorite app was True Fitness, but it's only available in the Windows ecosystem and Windows is dying. So, I started looking for a good app on my new S8. After trying almost all of them in the Play store, I can say Jefit suits my needs best of all. It has a good range of workout plans, is easy to use, has a good interface and good exercise instructions. I'm very fit, but after one week of Jefit my muscles are sore, it feels so good. I'd highly recommend the app to anyone interested in working out or already deep into it.
This app not only greatly helped me start working out but since it's super easy to keep track of personal data, it's almost single-handedly keeping me motivated and positive while recovering from my injuries. I don't want to be all hail corporate but honestly thank you so much JEFIT.
Edit 9/26/17: Still a great app, but I have a suggestion. For exercises like assisted pull-ups, can you adjust the logic so that lighter weights lead to new records? Currently, heavier weights give you a new record on these exercises, but heavier weights on an assisted lift is actually worse performance.
I love this app. My only issue is the exercise directory tells you which body area is being worked, but that information isn't listed once you actually create your workout. People like me tend to forget, so it would be a nice to have reminder.
Nice app, never share on social though - even if you try to share workouts you create it will share its own ad. Remember, never social share. Furthermore, doesn't seem to support supersets - you gotta create your own alternate sets X reps. Loads of body weight exercises still missing, so not great for CrossFit/Calisthenics - big, big shame. 3/5 for the social misbehaviour - learn from Runtastic.
I want to love this but i can't. Their "friends" implementation is sorely lacking on a number of fronts (see Runkeeper for an example of how to do it right), and the app doesn't connect to major weiggt and exercise tracking apps (like Loseit). Now, I'm still using it bc as a lifting tracker aline it's quite good, but it's still a few dev cycles from being what it could be.
