I have been using this app daily for over a year now without any issues. Today, I tried to open this app and it keeps crashing. My device (Samsung Galaxy S20) tells me I have to clear my cache. So I do that, and FJ still won't open. I have optimized my device. FJ still won't open. It's saying there is still a bug. So essentially, I've lost a year and a half of journals. Very upset. 😭

An update is in review and coming. I think if all you did was delete your cache you should be fine as long as you didn't delete your storage.

I swear by using journals, and I don’t know how I survived without one for so many years - I typically use journal apps to record family events, thoughts, online orders & bill payments, fund transfers, trips, maintenance, restaurant visits, health records, etc. I've been on the hunt for the perfect journal app for awhile now. Until last week, I was using Day One. Before that, Daybook, but they went to a subscription service for pro. I will never pay a subscription fee for an app; I'll use a Microsoft product before I ever do that. Anyway... I resumed looking for the perfect journaling app last week, and stumbled upon this one. I found it confusing at first, but only because I've never heard of a journal app where you can customize the entries. The first thing I thought was "I'll have to invest some time in this app." That was not true though. Once I started playing around with it, I was rocking and rolling in less than 30 minutes. Once I figured-out it's full potential, I loved it. I've since setup several different categories, and lists which help me find posts much much easier - especially when I just cannot find the exact words for what I'm looking for. While there’s a subscription option, there’s also an option to pay a one-time (forever) fee; I like that! I did that. I also like being able to switch to calendar view to drill-down a search to a month view, and you have the dates and times visible in that view. If those features were not enough, how about auto backups? If I was forced to complain about anything, it would be that there’s not enough icons for the forms (or not the type I want), but that’s nit-picking for sure. I’d also like to see other destination options for printing entries to PDF. In closing though, I’m very very happy with this app, and let there be not doubt... this app can be whatever the user wants it to be. That’s the beauty of user customization. If you don’t like the provided terms - you can rename them. If you don’t like the provided forms – you can delete them. If there's not enough categories for you - you can create more. If there's not enough lists for you - you can create more. Kudos to the development team!

Love this app. I was struggling to stay consistent with gratitude, pain and mood tracking. This makes it so easy with ready-made templates plus the option to create your own. I love that it will graph my responses so I can look for patterns, or export to CSV file for further manipulation. Developers also respond quickly to suggestions or questions. Perfect balance of simplicity and added features.
