This freaken rules! I was a huge NES Double Dragon 2 fan and while its not perfect, its a true sequel with a lot of combat improvements and extras such as earning new characters to fight with in the tower mode you can unlock after beating the game. I'm so happy to see it here on Android!
Its an ok game. But the fact that you have to pay for the rest of the game after you finish the first mission is a little messed up. So sadly I am going to uninstall this version and see if I can find the whole version.
Having been a fan of the NES original by Tradewest, I played the first several missions of DD4 with a combination of nostalgia and scrutiny. The retro look feels like home, new music is rockin', a few sunset scenes add new continuity, and we get triple the missions (albeit shorter), plenty of conveyor belts, a few new moves, some cross-gears to jump on, and a few new characters. Compared to the original, playability is improved: jumps are more forgiving, and the age-old slowdown/sprite-flicker is really a thing of the past. However, there are a few areas that can use a little more development: cut-scenes that seem half-baked, the punch/kick effect sounds obnoxious, doors lack sound (deadens transitional significance), pointer hand's ding sound is missing, the controls layout for Android only loosely resembles a NES controller, and there aren't any sleeping cats on tin trash cans (tic). Don't get this DD-snob wrong, DD4 has the makings of a memorable chapter, but just feels a little unfinished.
Sweet game kinda hard to navigate on cell phone but not so bad but good game 😎😉
I love Double Dragon , a huge big fan of it for real. I expected this game to be longer. Why after completing Mission 1 you have to pay for the the rest of the whole? This is a demo !!!!!😑😑
I love dis game but it is in Chinese and i can't read Chinese.. So my game is not saved.. Plzzz make it full English version
