About this app

"Hachibun Clear Stream Exploration Team" is an interactive app for children that teaches them how to "gently observe" river creatures.

Join the bee character and enjoy a fun, game-like experience of the entire process, from preparing to enter the river, to searching for creatures, observing them, and returning them to the river.

[What you can learn while playing]
■ Preparing to enter the river: Children learn why certain items are necessary, such as shoes that can get wet, a hat, an observation case, and a net. They also learn about safety rules, such as not going into deep water and staying with an adult.

■ Searching for river crabs and small fish: Children search for creatures by tapping on places where they might be hiding in the river illustration. Under rocks, in the shadows of aquatic plants… When they find something, it's recorded in the discovery log.

■ Care Quiz: Children review gentle observation methods, such as choosing hiding places and changing the water, through a 4-question quiz. Aim for a perfect score!
■ Picture Book
Includes live-action footage of river crabs and small fish. You can watch videos showing the process from preparing the observation case, feeding, changing the water, and returning the creatures to the river.

■ Returning to the River
After observation, gently return the creatures to where you caught them. This fosters a sense of respect for living things.
