Not working at all Press add NAS, type in user account, app says that it is confirming something (doesn't say what exactly), then dialog disappears and application stops responding. HTC One M8 BTW, web interface does not work either. I wish I bought WD...
ENGLISH Manual please? As far as web access from a local connection theres obviously no problem, its when i try to connect from an outside connection where i can get it going and i try to consult online manuals from the links it gives you but they aren't in english. Sumone help?
It's OKish I do wish I bought a more expensive known NAS like Synology with tried and tested software, however for the money I believe I've still got a good buy. Initial setup is a headache especially if the Upnp doesn't work with your home router and you have to manually configure. The webaccess app is a little unrefined as far as an app goes. I cannot seem to connect to my NAS when on wifi on same network however 4g works. Also I've not managed to upload a thing through it yet, stops uploading before its finished!
Useless Could not get this app to work at all. Select "Add NAS", type in NAS drive name and then the confirming indicator appears and runs for about five seconds before locking up completely. After about another sixty seconds get the message "Webaccess A has stopped responding" and gives me the choice to wait, report or OK (which shuts it down). If I select wait I eventually just get the not responding message again. Completely useless - uninstalled.
Works great, if you know how to set up! Great app and works a treat over WiFi and mobile Internet connection. Need to set up web access in Linkstation and ensure your router supports upnp (had to enable on mine). The latter has nothing to do with Buffalo and is unfortunately probably the reason why so many poor reviews about it not working properly! For 5 stars - would like the ability to save changes made to documents directly back onto the NAS.
- LS220DB and TS1200D are now supported.
- Modified the mechanism for selecting files for automatic uploading.
- Fixed a bug where the BuffaloNAS.com name could not be entered.
- Fixed a bug where a shared link could not be registered.
- Modified to show an error message when deleting downloaded files.
- Fixed a bug where resuming download failed if the half-downloaded file did not exist.
- Modified the default image size to original size when manually uploading.
- Made other minor changes.
