Its a good but not best...!!!! Its really good app. Its working perfectly with my 6D. Please put exposure bar in next version. And also others parameter can be controllable, like white balance, style, bracketing (exposure & white balance) , AF mode, Drive mode (single, continuous, self timer, etc.), Metering mode, Image Quality, etc.
Utter rubbish This used to work most of the time, replacing with new Canon connect now means that I can't connect to my 70D for more than a few seconds. Lucky to get a single photo. Really poor service canon. My wife has same model phone and can connect perfectly to her Nikon and took some great photos tonight of the moon. So very disappointed Canon as I have been a Canon user since owning my A1 many years ago, may be it time to try Nikon.
It works; no crashes or any misbehavior. But it certainly needs more controls to be useful in scenarios other than very simple ones. 1. access to more shooting parameters. (White balance, various bracketing settings, flash control) 2. Time lapse 3. Ability to turn off image transfer from camera to phohe for faster rounds. 4. Manual focus adjustment on the camera 5. Max zoom should be 10x (or more). Think of wide angle astrophotography where you need to adjust focus to see stars as few pixels
Perfect 👌 It works best with my 70D... The newest version is totally failed... Camera connect are worst ever
Connect but can't see the image. My EOS M3 connected to my phone but when I try to view image it shows nothing at all. My device is Samsung Grand Prime. OS Kit Kat 4.4.4. Please help me. I also try the Camera Connect but it wouldn't connect to my phone.
Could be SO much better I hope they keep improving this app... First off, you should be able to download full size/resolution images just like you can with an Eye-Fi or Trandscend's Wifi SD card. WHY LIMIT IT?? Second major problem is should be able to "Select All" when downloading to smartphone. Clicking on every individual photo is ABSURD. Third thing is enabled video download. Come on Canon, your EOS 6D full frame can't do what a $40 wifi card can?? Needs major work. That said; it shows promise and works as remote...
Canon has released a new application "Camera Connect" to replace EOS Remote. Please use "Camera Connect" to connect your Canon digital camera to smartphones and tablets.
