About this game

Wizardry Variants Daphne carries on the lineage of the classic RPG series, Wizardry. The portal to the labyrinth of despair, where even destruction is pleasure, has opened once again.

■ Story
Once every 100 years, the Abyss opens.

It is a curse of death that consumes the continent. A Warlock who coveted Death, devoured people and animals and enveloped the world in despair.

Inheriting the power to seal the Abyss over generations, kings have continued to protect the kingdom from its curse.

But now, the king has vanished, and the world is being consumed by death, moment by moment.

Resistance itself is meaningless.
There is naught but to perish.

It's cool that they fixed freezing, but there are still small issues like huge lag when selecting characters on dispatch. I feel like this whole thing is rushed a lot and poorly put together. I still play it from time to time, because there just isn't any brave alternatives on mobile, and I appreciate the attempt to appeal to players. Bunch of quality of life updates too, they seem to be trying hard. Good luck to the development team.

Fantastic RPG, with beautiful graphics/animation that straightforward, I prefer this to getting lost in the dungeon. Since beating the first abyss, new areas have opened up, and a greater variety of gear can be found. Better yet, greater and more healing potions are sold in the item shop. Plus, every week brings new updates, adding new features and fixing bugs. A great job by the developers in creating such a fantastic game!

Despite having a bit of a steep learning curve, this is a great game. The retro style game play is very reminiscent of Eye of the Beholder or The Bards Tale combined with your typical card drawing rpg for team building. Everything is beautifully rendered and animated and the story is really well written.
