d Book is an e-reader (e-book app) that lets you read manga, light novels, and novels anytime, anywhere.
We have a wide selection of titles, from manga that have been adapted into anime and dramas, to popular boys', girls', and young men's comics, as well as light novels and novels! We also regularly update free previews of popular titles. Available to both Docomo and non-Docomo users.

Not only can you earn d Points with e-book purchases, but you can also use your accumulated d Points for payments.

Q: Can I use d Books if I'm not a Docomo user?
A: Yes. If you have a d Account, you can use it with other carriers or via Wi-Fi.

Q: Can I use d Books if I change my device?
A: Yes. You can continue to use it by logging in with your d Account on a new device.
You will need to re-download the titles to view them on a new device, but the titles and bookshelf information purchased with the logged-in d Account will be carried over.

Q: I don't know how to use the app.
A: Download the app to a compatible device and log in with your d Account and password.
You can view your purchased books from the bookshelf in the lower right corner of the app.
Additionally, the home page introduces new and recommended manga.
For details, please refer to the "Frequently Asked Questions" section.

Q: Can I read books other than manga?
A: Yes. In addition to manga, you can purchase light novels, novels/literature, business/practical books, photo books, magazines, and more.
You can search for books other than manga by clicking "Search" in the bottom menu of the app.
Make sure "Filter" → "Include non-manga" is checked.

Q: Do you sell paper books?
A: No. d Book is an e-book store for smartphones, tablets, and PCs, so we do not sell paper books.

Q: Can I earn d Points?
A: You will receive d Points based on your purchase amount.

Earn 1% back when you use d Book!
Earn 1 point for every 100 yen (excluding tax) spent.
Additionally, when you pay with your d Card, you'll earn 2% back in d Points, or 2 points for every 100 yen (excluding tax).

* d Points earned when using d Book will be credited to the d Account you use with d Book.

* Points earned with your d Card will be credited to the mobile phone number or d Account registered as your mobile phone number. This applies to payments made with Visa/Mastercard using d Card, d Card GOLD, d Card GOLD U, d Card PLATINUM, DCMX, and DCMX GOLD. You'll earn 2 points for every 100 yen (tax included), including payment points and authorized dealer points.
