The game itself is fine, but jesus christ, the ads, and everything all at 1 time for anything that's not the mini games. has no one thought about "oh this person might be new and never played a cooking mama game"? Is this seriously what the mobile version is supposed to be? I have a near headache with ALL of that at one time. save your eyes some time, please. such a poor set of quality here. I expected ads, which is fine because it's a mobile game, but I didn't even know where to start.

I *tried* to play the game for about an hour but a grotesque amount of ads stopped me at every turn. I would have made a purchase to disable ads but I didn't see an obvious one and after research found out that making a purchase only disables them temporarily. The game itself is fun but ruined by a abhorrent amount of greed for more money any way they can get it. I'm uninstalling this game even though I really wanted to play because I refuse to support this type of monetization.

I absolutely adore all the Cooking Mama games on the Nintendo DS, and this game sounds and plays just the same. My low rating is for the overwhelming amount of ads. Get 2 instead of 3 stars on a step? Watch an ad. Pass a step? Watch an ad for coins. If there was a one time option to pay for no ads at all, I'd go for it. I'm uninstalling today. Sorry, Mama.
