-In addition to regular transfers, you can also manage scheduled transfers through the app.
-Using Easy Transfer (Mail Money), Transfer via Viber, and Transfer via Facebook, you can send money without knowing the recipient's account information.

-You can deposit and withdraw funds using smartphone ATMs at Seven Bank and Lawson Bank.

● Deposit and Withdrawal Statement Inquiry
- View your deposit and transfer history, account balance, and more all in one place from your "Deposit and Withdrawal Statement."

● Term Deposits (Standard Term Deposits, Rakuten Extension Deposits, etc.)
- Make deposits into term deposits and Rakuten Extension Deposits (structured deposits), and check the deposit amount and interest rate.
- Rakuten Extension Deposits are yen term deposits with special provisions that extend the deposit period from one year to up to 10 years. They offer more favorable interest rates than standard yen term deposits.

● Easy Split-the-Bill

● Rakuten Bank Convenience Store Payment
- Rakuten Bank Convenience Store Payment is a convenient service that allows you to make payments from your Rakuten Bank account without going to a convenience store by simply scanning the barcode on your convenience store payment slip.

● ATM Search
- Using your smartphone's GPS function, you can search by address or station name, and even get directions to an ATM.

● Submitting ID and Certificates
- Easily submit documents such as ID verification and certificates required for opening a Rakuten Bank account or applying for a loan from the app.

[About Logging In Using Biometric Authentication (Biometric Authentication Feature Provided by Google)]

By registering your biometric information on your smartphone, you can log in to the Rakuten Bank app without entering your password.

* Please enable biometric authentication in the Rakuten Bank app settings (after logging in) before using this feature.
* Biometric information used for biometric authentication can be added or deleted in the device settings.

■ Biometric Authentication-Compatible OS and Devices
- Fingerprint authentication is available on models with Android OS 6.0 or later that support fingerprint authentication.
- Other biometric authentication is available on models with Android OS 9.0 or later that support biometric authentication.

One of the worst banking system. Not customer friendly at all. I took their Mastercard Debit card with online and international payment enabled. But the card got restricted while trying to pay my Claude AI subscription bill. I had to call to the customer center to unrestrict it and informed, on the next month I would try again. But again on the next month it did the same behavior. I asked for a written reason described in a mail, but they said, they won't send that due to privacy matter.

Very disappointing.They send email for transactions but not all the time and also not on time. Most of the times the email notifications are delivered too late.Also some transaction notifications only tell me that the payment was completed but not with basic details of at least how much. Not to mention terrible user experience. I am so sick of such bad IT or Mobile infrastructure of Japan. PLEASE JAPAN. YOU CAN DO BETTER. ITS NOT SO HARD. JUST FREAKING LOOK AROUND AND LEARN FROM OTHER COUNTRIES.

Works flawlessly though, terrible userability in the ID documents submission feature that only accepts scanning the docs by the app itself (i.e. it doesn't accept PDF or any pre-recorded docs). Also after automated signing out due to inactivity, all the data that were scanned before sign out are gone, due to which I had to re-do many things so submission was such a time-consuming process unnecessarily.
