Not working with F-140R. - Piano upgraded to latest version (1.9 at the moment) - App up to date - Using Nexus 5 on a stock Android version Tried everything asked in the doc + the link in the description. Even tried case that should not work (just in case). Never been able to spot the piano within the app. But yeh, the phone is listing it on Bluetooth device without trouble...
Nightmare, 3 different devices can't connect to it and I work in IT! Have updated the system on my piano and ran all the fixes roland suggests. Really pissed because this function is the reason I bought the piano and roland is not cheap i expect better.
This doesn't work with my HP508 piano. Just says it can't connect. There is no help within the application itself and nothing from Roland. The app does not provide any diagnostic or help tools. Totally useless, unsupported, product
One thing that can be improved is the Remote Controller feature. Rather than just have the ability to turn the metronome on/off, I'd like to also be able to set the tempo to a specific number. I have an fp-30 btw
Advice: Bluetooth connection issue can be resolved by changing F16 option to Midi and NOT pairing on the tablet's system Bluetooth devices list. That feature is being activated by the app setup internally. After that App works OK :)
The problems connecting both initially, after firmware update and a LOT of trial and error, followed by continously slow reconnexion issues (seriously you couldn't program it remember device), I just can't bring myself to recommend this app. Connexion via midi/usb is no better (to date impossible). There is no meaningful, useful manuals out there to troubleshoot, and Roland don't seem to be acting on client feedback. I'm left just feeling sad and frustrated at not being able to get the most from my digital piano with Piano Partner 2.
- Fixed some bugs and fine improvements.
