Worked fairly well for six weeks. Starting a few days ago, it hangs when started with an eventual error message that "Y-connect could not communicate with the server. Please try again later (E0007)" Both the app (v3.52) and my Pixel 8 haven't been updated in a few weeks. Sure seems like a server issue, ridiculous that the app won't even start without talking to big brother. I can't even enter my oil change info.

Just bought a 2025 Tenere today. Downloaded the app and followed the set up procedure. Inputed the VIN and got the Bluetooth paired ok. The next step is for the app to download something, but immediately it says Download Failed (Error: System Failure.) The only button available on the screen is RETRY. I've retried dozens of times, with no success. I have hard- closed the app and rebooted the phone (pretty modern Samsung G22) and restarted the app and it goes right back to this screen.

Function of the app is nearly useless. Permissions to run "all the time" are required but the app doesn't reconnect if connection is lost. Maintenance reminders are the only good part. When receiving a notification for a call/text, there's just a random generic notification. This whole app is just a gimmick that doesn't help the rider in any meaningful way. I hope to see better functions in the future.
