This app can play slideshow of your Google Photos and set it as screen saver.
You can choice your favorite albums in Google Photos for slideshow.

Buyer beware. I paid for the app 3 years ago. I could put as many photo albums up as I wanted and unlimited photos would continue to play on my android tv screen save. Now, it plays some and then stops. When I say some, it is around 40 which takes only a few minutes. I have tried to contact the developer, but this is not possible. Such a shame as I loved this app, but it no longer does what it is intended for. Please fix this issue and I would be happy to change this review score.

This app needs work but it seems like the developer is actively improving the app. Unfortunately you can't expand the photo maximum on the phone, leading to a tedious process of using the TV remote and keyboard to type the password over and over. There should be an option to expand by 2,500 and 5,000 at a time for people with many photos. (Apparently the max is 9,500? Also annoying)

This app is great. I installed it on a Google TV dongle that plugged into the tv and family member's hospital room. I was able to give the Google photo album link to all of my other family so that they can add their photos to the album as well. That in combination with this app give us a never-ending supply of new uplifting photos to share. I would give it five stars if it was also able to play videos that were in the album.
