The irAE detection system is a home-based medical inquiry system and side effect detection system for patients who use immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI) for cancer treatment.
Outpatient treatment has less time to contact healthcare professionals than hospitalization. Therefore, in order to maintain a better physical condition, patients need to manage themselves and have a systematic cancer treatment system.
Patients record body temperature and blood pressure, as well as responses to interviews, through a dedicated smartphone app. The recorded daily data is graphed on the app to help you understand your health status.
In the unlikely event that an abnormality is detected from the recorded contents, a screen that warns immediately will be displayed, leading to early detection of an adverse immune event (irAE). In addition, the results of the interview are shared with the attending physician in real time, so that potential side effects can be confirmed.
