Ratings and reviews

I installed the newest update hoping it would fix the problem with the app crashing, but now the app overheats my phone when I open it. What can I do? *edit: I restart all the time when this happens, it's only a temporary fix. My phone only heats up when I use this app. My point is, this isn't normal and began with that update. I had hoped for better than the IT go-to response of "Have you tried restarting it?"

I liked the various views it suggests, but lately when you open it, It's improved but now they automatically give you top stories that don't match the notification. Close that and the notification story doesn't exist. They also started sending ads with the close x so far on edge of screen, you can't select it, it send you to Amazon to order. can't close, doesn't time out. Now July 2025 they are using phishing ads. Run away, no quality control.

Oh my! I open the app, and I am immediately met by a pop-up asking me to log into a Google account. Swiping away from that, I'm immediately met with another pop-up, this time an ad. Swipe that one away, yet another ad. Want to guess what happened after I swiped to that one away? That's right! Another pop up! Uninstalling. I have better things to do with my time then swipe away pop up ads while trying to read news.
