Ratings and reviews

Works but could be improved. Tanita scales have amazing hardware but the software could me improved to matche app such as Renpho, Withings, Fitbit, etc. It would be already awesome if they just made it so you could switch the app units from metric to imperial. Or at least so that it could display weight in lbs instead of kg.

I wanna change the unit but it always stuck in kg. If I change it in the scale it just messes up the data. What's the point of making a switch to change between lbs and kg in the scale while the app forces you to use kg only? I found a review in 2023 having the same complaint. I can't believe this simple feature took 2 years and is still not implemented.

Does not allow printing, sharing or exporting of measurement data. App is not intuitive and poorly developed. unfortunately it is the only app that works with the Tanita RC545 weighing scale. if i had seen the app review, or known about the bad app, i would not have bought this expensive scale. now i am stuck with it.
