HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for those who like to wrack their brains. Ingenious puzzles will have you testing your memory and sense of direction/antecedence. It's not easy, as you can easily get lost in what is basically a flipping labyrinth. Hours of fun, frustration and (mental) flexing.
Don't understand - needs more instructions! How do you know when/where to stop
Patanko is brilliant. It's pleasing to look at, absorbing and simple to play... but fiendishly difficult to play well. That last point's crucial. Getting a top score (3/3 Stars) per Level is tricky, but the game is all about entertainment, so you can play as badly as I do and still make progress. (Play offline to avoid distractions.) There's no clock, just a count of the number of steps little Ninja-san takes to reach the Exit; so take your time, think laterally, grab another tea/coffee and 36 chocolate Hobnobs and relax. You can replay awkward Levels as often as you like, gradually improving your score... Or you can just move on. What? You've a choice? Yay! That's thoughtful game-design. Patanko is seriously challenging, but FUN. Remember fun?The animation's a delight and the music's perfect because (amazingly) it doesn't grate even after an hour's play. Please may we have some more Levels?
The idea is great, and it's relatively simple in terms of controls, but it gets confusing when the paper has more than 2 states. An indicator of how many states there are could go a long way in helping the issue, as it's not consistent across maps
A lovely awesome game with soothing, relaxing music as bgm. Logic behind the levels are also good. 'Sounds' are little deviating from relaxation created by the bgm. But overall, I'm enjoying the game!❤️
Lots of fun! But I'm already stuck!! Thank you so much for this awesome freebie! Could use a solve for Level 29 :(
