JM-Safety is an app that provides peace of mind at sea with three functions: ``Falling detection'', ``Ship location sharing'', and ``Safety monitoring''.

■ Falling water detection
If you have a falling water detection unit and the JM-Safety app, you will be notified of the risk of falling into water with a screen display and an audible alarm. You can check the status and location of a fall on a map and icons to support rescue efforts. Your loved ones will be notified of the situation via your smartphone.

■ Ship share
With JM-Safety app, you can know the dangers around you. Displays the positions of surrounding ships (*1) on the map in real time. The app predicts the ship's subsequent position (*2) and supports the danger of approach and collision with audio, vibration, and warning messages. We will also notify you with breaking news when an earthquake or tsunami occurs.

*1: Displays the locations of ships equipped with AIS (Automatic Identification System) and JM-Safety app users. In addition, with the JM-Safety app, you can set whether or not to share your location with others.
*2: Calculates the time it takes to reach the closest approach and predicts whether or not it will collide with surrounding ships. Additionally, by setting a warning circle, if a ship or other object enters the circle, you will be notified of the direction of approach.

■ Safety monitoring
Share your safety and location with your family, friends, and other loved ones on your smartphone. If you think, ``Huh?'', you can immediately check the status and location of your fall detection at any time (*3).

*3: You can register the notification destination corresponding to your own fall detection unit in the JM-Safety app. Additionally, the notification destination you wish to register must have the JM-Safety app installed in advance.

● This app is free to use, but additional communication charges will apply.
● This app uses Bluetooth® Low Energy to communicate with the falling water detection unit. Depending on usage and communication conditions, it may not be possible to completely detect and notify the danger of falling into the water or approaching or colliding with surrounding ships.
● This app achieves the following functions by using the smartphone's location information service.
1. "Falling detection function": Acquires and records the location information of the point where the falling water detection unit detects a risk of falling into water.
2. "Ship location sharing function": Displays the location information of JM-Safety app users on a map, and acquires and records the location information as an indicator for determining the risk of approaching or colliding with surrounding ships.
3. "Safety monitoring function": When a JM-Safety app user is at risk of falling into the water or having an accident, the location information of that point is acquired and recorded, and the acquired location information is sent to surrounding users and registered notification destinations. Notify information.
● This app is used as an aid to provide peace of mind to support early detection and rescue when there is a risk of falling overboard, and safe navigation. It does not guarantee safety such as saving lives.
● How to delete user information (account) is as follows. ``Settings'' tab → Long press the ``User ID'' field and follow the on-screen instructions.
