About this app

"Earn Pocket Money by Helping Out" is an app designed to teach children about work and money by allowing them to earn in-app money through chores.
The money earned can be linked to real-world items they want or their allowance, allowing them to learn about the value and use of money.
It can be used by the whole family on one smartphone or tablet. "Family Sharing" is also available (optional), allowing multiple devices, such as each spouse's smartphone, to view the same data. There are no ads.

■ Two Ways to Earn
・Choose a chore from the job list → Earn a fixed amount (¥10-50 is a guideline)
・Use the "Think" menu to find someone's problem and propose a solution → Decide the amount yourself and have your parents approve it
Jobs that children find and solve themselves earn higher rewards, and an additional "Discovery Bonus" is added.

"Finding a solution yourself" earns more than "doing what you're told." This system fosters initiative, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

Since parents ultimately decide the amount of the proposed solution, it also helps teach children about money management. ■ Money in the app has the same value as real money
The in-app allowance is designed to be used with the same value as real money.
Earned money can be used in three ways from the "Spend" section:
• Wishlist: Register items at their real price. Once you've saved enough, you can buy them in the app and have them actually purchased for you.
• Time Tickets: Buy time for games, videos, and TV (whether to use them is up to the family).
• Allowance: Receive the saved amount directly as cash.

Your spending history is kept, showing how much you spent on what. The wallet also displays images of coins and bills, allowing you to learn "what it looks like to hold cash."

■ What Parents Can Do
- Parent menu protected by a PIN
- Add, rearrange, and price standard tasks
- Review and approve suggestions from children, setting the amount (you can check photos and voice memos)
- Approve chores, record allowance payments, and manage pending payments
- Savings bonus (increases once a week at the set interest rate. Experience interest rates. Initially OFF)
- Backup and restore
Allowance will not increase without parental approval. The system prevents children from increasing it on their own.

■ Customizable for Children
- Switch between displaying hiragana/large font and displaying mixed kanji (from around age 5)
- Dress-up (9 colors) and animal avatars
- When a savings goal is set, a gauge showing the goal appears on the home screen.

■ Family Sharing (Optional, Initially Off)
- Simply turn on sharing in the Parent menu and scan the QR code with the device you want to add. No account registration required
• Records of chores, approvals, balances, and photos are delivered to all family members' devices.
• Data sent is encrypted within the device, and the key to read it is only on the family member's device (the developer cannot read it either).
• When disconnected, it will only show "viewable" data, and will automatically catch up when connected.

■ For your peace of mind
• Initially, there is no communication. Communication only occurs when a parent turns on "Share with Family".
• No ads or analytics tools. No account registration required.
• Photos, audio, and records are stored on the device (even when shared, only family members' devices can read them).
• Data is not automatically uploaded to the cloud. Please regularly export backups from the parent menu to prepare for device changes or malfunctions.

■ About Time Tickets
The remaining time is displayed in the notification, and you will be notified when the time is up.
