This app does reduce Eye Strain. The app does reduce eye strain. The ads only appear when adjustments are being made. Updating is very frequent. Is this really necessary? Are more devices being accommodated by it?
May work well - if only I knew which permissions to set... I have problems falling asleep at night. So I read a lot on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S. But the blue light from the tablet screen just makes it harder for me to drift off. So when I saw this blue light filter app recommended in an online article it seemed like something that could possibly be the answer I needed to my partial insomnia. But I guess I'll never know. Because when I start the app it asks me to tap a button which will take me to a screen to set permissions. Except it takes me to the wifi network section of my table's settings. And to make matters worse, the app doesn't even say which permissions need to be set. So as I write this review at 4am, I'm still no closer to falling asleep than I did at around 1am when I went to bed.
Last update screwed a great app The latest update brings a message box denying responsibility for any damage to phones or tablets, but won't allow me to run the filter any more. Nexus 7 2013 running MOB30X
Works great on my Galaxy 7 Love this app for nighttime reading. Gets a 3 because I paid to upgrade it on my prior phone but the app doesn't remember me on my new phone. Support please let me know how to fix this.
Tremendous app! Recommend it This app delivers exactly what it is supposed to do. Have been using it for 9 months now and never had any issue with it. I definitely recommend it for everyone. I can actually keep working until late on a screen without feeling that my eyes are ruined.
Superb Use my phone as an e reader most nights and can adjust light level as eyes become dark adjusted, without waking her indoors!
