By introducing passkey authentication, passwords are no longer required, effectively preventing unauthorized logins by third parties.

◆What is Passkey Authentication?

Passkey authentication is an authentication method that uses the smartphone screen unlock mechanism to verify that login and other operations are performed by the customer themselves.

Unlocking a smartphone requires biometric authentication (facial recognition, fingerprint recognition, etc.) or PIN code input, making it difficult for anyone other than the owner to operate it.

Passkey authentication offers higher security than traditional password entry and is introduced to protect customer assets.

◆How to Use Passkey Authentication

To use passkey authentication, you need your own smartphone and the installation of the "Authentication App". Your smartphone must be configured in advance to allow screen unlocking via biometric authentication or PIN code entry.
*When using passkey authentication for the first time, you will need to activate the passkey.

Please contact Himawari Securities Customer Support immediately. If necessary, we will verify your identity and then proceed with the passkey deactivation process.
