Call? Search and Confirm provides three convenient features:
1. Asks for confirmation before actually making a call. No longer make an unintended call from phone in your pocket! (You can turn off this feature.)
2. Searches the web for phone numbers immediately when you make/receive a call and presents business name and location if found. This is particularly convenient when you make reservations at restaurant or dentist. You can check its location on maps immediately without searching the name separately.
3. Manages recent call history. You can examine recent outgoing/incoming/missed calls and reverse look up the numbers.
You don't need to invoke this application manually. The feature 1 and 2 trigger automatically when you make/receive a call. It doesn’t replace Android's standard or your favorite dialer. The result is presented as a notification in an unobtrusive way.
✓ By its nature, it sends phone numbers to Google.
✓ On CDMA telecom networks such as Verizon US and au(KDDI) Japan, this application may not show results instantly because phone cannot send/receive data while voice line is active. It should work if the phone is connected to the internet through Wi-Fi. Call confirmation feature should not be affected either.
✓ Due to Android limitations, it cannot work on SD memory card. Also please configure task killer applications not to kill Call? Confirm services.
